Information about photos, video recordings and audio recordings
We would like to point out that under certain circumstances photographs, film and/or sound recordings will be made during the event. These recordings are associated with the pictorial representation of persons present, whereby the selection of persons is random.
A presentation of the pictures will be made on the internet (e.g. on the website of the organiser or the congress website), on print media and social media channels. By entering the event rooms, the consent of the person present to the free publication in the aforementioned manner shall be given without the need for an explicit declaration by the person concerned. Should the person concerned not agree to the publication of his/her person in individual cases, we request that he/she inform the responsible photographer or cameraman immediately.
If the person in question does not agree with a specific publication of a photographic representation of him or her, please notify the office of the Bundesverband GebäudeGrün e.V. immediately by e-mail, telephone or post, stating the exact name of the image in question. In this case, the image will be removed within a reasonable period of time, if possible, and will no longer be published.
The organiser prohibits any photo, film or sound recordings by the participants both in the presence and online event (e.g. via mobile phone, camera or screenshot), as unauthorised recordings constitute copyright infringements by the speakers.
If the congress cannot be held or cannot be held in the offered and booked form for reasons for which the organiser or the implementing agency is not responsible (e.g. natural disasters, strike, pandemic or force majeure), there shall be no claim for reimbursement of the (pro rata) participation fees or for compensation for other (financial) losses.
We would like to point out that the organiser is only liable for claims due to bodily injury caused by intent or negligence or due to damage to property caused by intent or gross negligence on the part of the organiser. Further claims are excluded. The organiser shall not be liable for the loss or theft of items brought along or motor vehicles, except in the case of intent or gross negligence.
No liability is accepted for changes to the programme or postponements of events. The organiser reserves the right to postpone or relocate events or parts thereof (lectures etc.). This also includes the cancellation of individual programme items.
This does not entitle the participant to withdraw from the event. Claims for damages arising from this are excluded. The organiser undertakes to inform all parties concerned immediately after becoming aware of any necessary changes.
Furthermore, the organiser is not liable for the presence of announced speakers. In the event of cancellation, participants shall not be entitled to any compensation whatsoever. The organiser will endeavour to find an adequate replacement. The current status of the speakers can be found in the online publication, subject to a deadline of one week before the start of the event. Later changes are no longer possible online for technical reasons.
Furthermore, claims for damages for incorrect, non-existent or incomplete publications in the printed materials or on the congress homepage are excluded.
Should individual conditions be invalid or unenforceable or become invalid or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining conditions. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid and enforceable provision the effects of which come closest to the economic objective pursued by the contracting parties with the invalid or unenforceable provision. The above provisions shall apply mutatis mutandis in the event that the Terms and Conditions prove to be incomplete.
The conditions of participation can be found here.
